    Abstract
    This study explores the relationship between collaborative learning and clinical performance among nursing students at Uzima University. Collaborative learning has emerged as a significant educational approach in health care education, promoting both academic performance and mental well-being among students. This study explores the impact of collaborative learning on the clinical performance of nursing students at Uzima University. The aim wasto assess how grouped-based learning interventions enhance student’s practical skills, critical thinking and confidence in clinical settings. The objectives of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of collaborative learning on clinical competency and to determine its role in improving students engagement and motivation and also to identify challenges and facilitators influencing collaborative learning outcomes among nursing students. The research adopted quantitative data collection technique .A sample of third and fourth year nursing students was selected. Quantitative data was gathered via structured questionnaires to measure clinical performance and in-depth interviews will be conducted to gain insights into students’ experiences with collaborative learning. Data was analyzed using descriptive to measure relationship between collaborative learning and clinical performance.Data was presented through statistical tables,bar graphs and charts .The findings highlight the extent to which collaborative learning impacts clinical performance, offering recommendations to enhance collaborative learning practices within nursing curricula at Uzima University.
