    Abstract
    Caesarean section operation has been on the rise among pregnant mothers seeking delivery services at Kisumu County Hospital(KCH). This form of intervention consumes a lot of resource amidst other service offered at the hospital which operate with minimal resources. The purpose of this study will be geared to determine the indications and investigate the outcome of the mother who have undergone the operation. The study population will be among the pregnant mothers seeking delivery service at the hospital. Purposive sampling will be used in which a whole censure will be selected till the reach 34 subjects. This is because the number is few. A cross sectional descriptive study design will be used. A formulated questionnaire will be need to collect data from the subject. Ethical clearance will be obtained from both the university and the hospital. Collected data will be analyzed using a computer package spss version 16.0. the analyzed data will be presented in simple tables, rates, percentage or any other convenient method. Finding and conclusion will be decided and their implication documented accordingly.
